Isn't this perfection? Please, I'll move right in. Insert squeal here.
No but seriously. When I'm house or apartment dreaming my fantasies seem to always reach a dead end sooner or later - the dead end being there are no exciting spaces to explore and re-invent as homes in Stockholm. In London, Amsterdam, NY - you name the city I'll find the area - there are always these amazing unconventional spaces just waiting to be turned into homes. Alternatively there are old houses and apartments that haven't been renovated since we were last depressed about the economy, which with a little love (read spades of money) can become as perfect as this home. In Sweden, houses are either new or newly and conventionally renovated.
I guess we're just too Swiss in Sweden. We've probably always planned square spaces on square spaces and by now we're renowned for our Nordic sensibility and simply can’t escape it. However, Swiss trains are always on time, or you're reimbursed. Ours are just expensive. Always take flight if travelling in this country.
Enough with the run-on. Here’s to dreaming. What can swiftly become a reality though is that Y&B bookshelf wallpaper. I'm in love.
